SBI CBO Age Limit:

The age of the candidates should not above 30 years as on referenced date as mentioned on the notification to eligible to apply for this recruitment. However, the upper age limit will be relaxed with respect to the category of the candidates.

SBI CBO Educational Qualification:

The candidates who are willing to apply for this recruitment should possess the qualification of graduation in any discipline or equivalent qualification to apply for this recruitment.

SBI SBO Experience:

The candidates should have the minimum of 2 years of experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank to eligible for this recruitment.

SBI CBO Salary:

The candidates who will be inducted for this recruitment will get the salary in the scale of JMGS-I (23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850- 1310/7-42020). In simple words, at the start of the scale i.e. 23,700/- plus one increment for each completed year of service rendered in officer cadre in would be awarded for the candidates.

SBI CBO Application Fee:

The aspirants should pay the application fee of Rs.750/- to apply for this recruitment. This amount of fee is applicable for the applicants who belong to the category of General/ OBC/ EWS. The candidates from the SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS/DXS are exempted from the fee payment.

SBI CBO Selection Process:

• The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview. However, Bank reserves right to conduct written examination (in case of any need). The candidates will be inducted based on the merit list. This will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview in state wise and category wise.
• In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off mark, they will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit. The further details of the selection process will be intimated by the board at the time of notification.

SBI CBO Career Growth:

The selected candidates will be designated as “Circle Based Officers” (CBOs) initially. Then they will be on probation for a period of 6 months and subjected to continuous assessment. The candidates who qualify in their assessment will be confirmed in the service of the Bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). The selected candidates will not be entitled for inter-circle transfer up to his/ her promotion to SMGS-IV Grade (or) 12 years of service.
