SBI Funded 10 Crores in Geographical Indication Sign Project: Atmanirbhar Bharat Centre of Design (ABCD)!! The State Bank of India (SBI), National Culture Fund (NCS) and Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) collaboratively signed a MoU for the development of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Centre for Design at Barrack Red Fort, Delhi.
It is a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding – MoU. The project Atmanirbhar Bharat Centre of Design – ABCD have the goal to develop the products that have the Geographical Indication sign, as it signifies a specific geographic origin infused with unique features of that region.

Economic Value Addition to GI products is envisioned and can pave way for GI products from India towards a success story of Atmanirbhar Bharat via this project. It gives the combined space among the karigars and the designers, to enable design interventions in synchronize with an exclusive and niche market for the artifacts developed at the Red Fort.
An autonomous organization and Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts under Ministry of Culture, being implemented the project t of the same. To get the support for this project the NCF requested the State Bank of India. The SBI also has accepted to give support the project by sponsor it under CSR. The SBI contributed 10 crore of rupees for the process of this process.
