The Ministry of Defense issued the statement related to the scheme of providing increased the monthly financial assistance of the parentless ex-servicemen children. The Minister allows the officials to increase the monthly financial assistance to the orphan children of ex-servicemen from Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000. As per the Minister’s report this policy is applicable for the parentless children of the ex-servicemen. Certainly the son or unmarried daughter of those ex-servicemen and whose age is less than 21 years.
