Gaurav Mehta, district president of Kangra Vocational Education Teachers Association said, ‘Vocational education teachers working in government schools in the state get a fixed salary of Rs.15,000 per month.
Vocational teachers do not get any increase in salary even though they work in schools for many years. Therefore, the teachers have demanded that the state government should raise the salary equivalent to the teachers in Haryana’ he added.
