RBI Governor Bagged “Governor Of The Year 2023” Award in London: The Central Banking Award ceremony will be conducted to select the best banking governors under certain criteria in various categories. Recently, the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) governor Mr. Shaktikanta Das bagged the ‘Governor of the Year 2023’ award at the banking awards in London.
The organizers of the award state that Das faced a crucial reform situation with world-leading payment innovation through tuff times with a well-defined manner, steady hand, and well-planned phases. Many officials from the banking and other sectors have been making wishes for him on Wednesday.
Das’s tenure has been started in 2018, and from starting he faced many criteria and challenges like covid, the Ukraine-Russia war, etc, and during that time also he maintained a standard of economic inflation. He was the second Indian national to bag this award; the first one was Mr. Raguram Rajan, who bagged the title in 2015.
