Working Hours Reduction in government and private companies- Ramadan Starts. This is the month of Ramadan which is also called as Ramzan, a popular festival celebrated in the Islam region. In United Arab Emirates which is consider as the capital for this particular religion the Islamic holy month of Ramadan begins today on 2.4.2022. So the working hours in government and private companies have been reduced for this celebration.
The Gulf countries follow the Saudi Arabia’s decision in the Islamic affairs. Saudi Arabia announced that the month of Ramadan will start due to the sighting of the crescent in the country the day before. At this month, the people in the Islam region follow the fasting for 30 days. They eat food in the early morning after that they does not eat nothing even they does not drink a drop of water for the particular time.

This year a maximum of about 14 hours of fasting is to be observed in the United Arab Emirates. This means that on average, food or water should not be consumed between 4.45 am and 6.40 pm depending on their time of prayer. Traffic and parking times have also been changed. Emergency services, including ambulances, are allowed to change working hours to suit their needs.
