REET paper leak controversy
- On September 26, 2021, REET was held, and Rajasthan Police discovered a cheating scam, which led to the arrest of a group of five persons.
- The REET document leak scandal has sparked outrage, with BJP leaders staging a demonstration in Jaipur against the government, seeking a CBI inquiry into the REET paper leak case.
- Rajendra Rathore, the Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly, said ANI that the way the Education Minister’s family members cleared REET demonstrated that the administration was involved in a fraud.

- Meanwhile, REET Jaipur District Coordinator Pradeep Parashar was detained by the Special Operation Group (SOG) of the police in connection with the REET document leak case.
- A total of 36 persons have been arrested as a result of this investigation.
- On Tuesday, Congress leader Sachin Pilot claimed that a comprehensive inquiry was underway into this case, and that the Rajasthan government had fired numerous employees, set stronger regulations, and launched an investigation. A committee would be delivering the recommendations in the next 45 days, he said.
