• As per the notification, the board has been seeking for dynamic, experienced and result oriented retired Govt. officer, preferably retired officer of Indian Information Service Group ‘A’, for engagement as Advisor (Media). So, the candidates should be an officer who retired at Level-14 and above in CDA Pay Matrix (7th CPC). Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience of publicity of Railways sector preferably at National level to apply for this recruitment.

•  The age of the candidates should not be more than 63 years as on 01.04.2021 to eligible to apply for this recruitment. Duration of Service Contract will be initially for a period of 1 year, further extendable till requirement of services or attaining age of 65 years whichever is earlier. The candidates who applied for this recruitment will be subjected to the Interview and Vigilance Clearance as a selection process. The details of the selection process will be intimated by the board later.
• The selected candidates will have to undergo Medical examination/health check-up and will be considered for engagement as Consultant/Advisor only if they are found medically fit. Once they will be inducted as Advisor, they are eligible to get the salary as consolidated lump sum payment per month will be equal to Last Pay + DA drawn minus Pension (before commutation).
