Retired bank officials from public sector banks (Scale II and above) who are in good health are eligible to apply for the role. An individual with strong communication skills, knowledge of banking operations, and a passion for helping financially disadvantaged people will be given priority.
FLC Counsellors will be employed on a contract basis for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend every year on the advice of the concerned Zonal Manager until they reach the age of 65. The age relaxation will be in accordance with government guidelines. For more details, see the official announcement. FLC Counsellors will be paid a fixed consolidated remuneration of Rs.12, 000/- per month by the concerned Zonal Office, plus reimbursement of actual conveyance expenses up to Rs. 2000/- per month (by ordinary Bus/any other ordinary means).
The interview will be used to make the final decision. The shortlisted candidates will be considered for hiring pending vigilance approval from the concerned Bank/s, and the Bank will not accept any applicant who has been dismissed from service or has received a CRS or big penalty in the previous five years of service.
