Punjab CM gave Approval for 26400+ Job Recruitment: Also approved One MLA One Pension Rule – Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated on Monday that the state government had approved 26,454 recruitments in various departments of Punjab Government, he also approved one MLA-one pension regulation. His decisions were made public during a meeting of the state cabinet.

CM Bhagwant Mann took to Twitter to announce several cabinet decisions, including approva of 26,454 recruitments, one MLA-one pension, the door-to-door ration delivery scheme, compensation of Rs 41.8 crore for soft crop failure in Sri Muktsar Sahib, and an extension of the time for small transporters to deposit fees.

The Punjab Government has decided to extend the time for small transporters to deposit fees by three months. It further stated that the fees might be paid in installments by the transporters. Notably, the Chief Minister also wrote: “Not just announcements, We do what we say,” possibly a dig at his predecessor, Charanjit Singh Channi, whom the AAP derided as “Elanjeet Singh” for his promises on discounted power, debt waivers, and other issues.
