Public Works Department, Assam has released Notification for the post of Junior Engineer(Civil), Asst. Engineer(Civil). Applications are invited from eligible Candidates. Candidates can Apply Online from 24.08.2018 to Midnight of 07.09.2018.

- Jr Engineer – 307 + (9 for PWD) Posts
- Asst. Engineer – 156 + ( 5 for PWD) Posts
Name Of Post: Junior Engineer(Civil), Asst. Engineer(Civil)
Age limit:
For Jr Engineer: Candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 44 years of age as on 3.3.2018.
For Asst. Engineer: Candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2018.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering of an Indian or Foreign University recognised by the Government /Passed parts A & B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India).
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute.
- Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of atleast 1 (one) official language of the state of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo).
Pay Scale:
For Jr Engineer: Rs. 14000‐Rs.49000/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 8700/‐
For Asst.Engineer: Rs. 30,000/‐ to 1,10,000/‐ Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700/
Selection Process: Written test and Interview
