5000 Police Constable’s Vacancies to Filled up This Year!!! Araga Jnanendra, the Home Minister for Karnataka, announced to the Legislative Assembly that 5,000 of the 9,432 police constable vacancies in the state will be filled this year.

BJP MLA Preetham Gowda asked the Minister a question about the state’s lack of police constables during the Legislative Assembly’s question period. When our government first took office, there were approximately 22,000 police job openings in the state.
Later, there were approximately 35,000 open positions out of a total of 1 lakh police, but presently there are just 9,432 open positions, according to Jnanendra. He stated that a notification will be sent out in a week to pick another 1,500 civil constables after noting that a notification was sent out on September 12, 2022, to select 3,500 constables.
“Therefore, 5,000 openings will be filled this year, and there won’t be many openings for long. The good news is that there are many fewer openings than in the previous 20 years “He continued by saying that all essential steps would be made to ensure that the upkeep of law and order would not be hampered by a lack of or insufficient police.
