PGEAC 2021 Admission Notification Release Soon – Bihar Post Graduate Engineering Exam Details Here: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board conducts counselling for the various postgraduate engineering programmes offered by Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT Mjaffarpur) and BCE, Bhagalpur’s Micro Electronics and VLSI Technology Course. The candidates’ marks in the GATE 2021 examination will be used to determine their admission to the above-mentioned programmes. PGEAC 2021 Eligibility Criteria 2021:
- For M.Tech (Machine Design) and M.Tech (Production Engineering), candidates must have a B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, and Industrial Engineering (Thermal Engineering).
- For Micro Electronics & VLSI Technology Course, candidates must have a B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering.
- Candidates from the general and OBC categories must have received a minimum of 50% in the above-mentioned subjects. For SC/ST candidates, there will be a 5% relaxation, i.e., a minimum of 45 percent is required. The courses M. Tech. (Machine Design), M. Tech. (Thermal Engineering), and Micro Electronics & VLSI Technology have no minimum age requirement. For all categories, i.e.(Unreserved / SC / ST / EBC / BC / DQ) candidates, the counselling cost is Rs. 2200/- (Two Thousand Two Hundred) to be paid through the aforesaid modes.
BCECE Board PGEAC 2021 Selection Process 2021:
- The nomination process for the postgraduate courses described will be based on counselling, which will be conducted in two rounds. Candidates who have passed the GATE exam will be considered for nomination in the first phase.
- Candidates who have completed the qualifying examination (B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Production Engineering and Industrial Engineering) will be considered in the second phase.
