BSNL Director Eligibility Details:
BSNL Education Qualification:
- The applicant must be an Engineering graduate, especially in the fields of electronics and communications/ telecommunications, with a strong academic record from a reputable university or institution.
- Applicants with a postgraduate diploma or degree in management will have an edge.
Experience:
- The applicant should have sufficient technical/operational experience at a senior level of management in a reputable firm, with at least five years in telecommunication technology and planning methodologies during the previous ten years.
- Telecom operation, planning, and development experience is preferred.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- A member of the Board of Directors, Director(Consumer Mobility) reports to the Chairman and Managing Director. He or she is in charge of the mobile network’s planning and development.
- He or she will be responsible for operating and maintaining BSNL mobile services in accordance with Telecom Industry Standards. He or she is in charge of developing a business plan for the Consumer Mobility business’s long-term success. He or she is in charge of the mobile business’s sales, marketing, and customer service.
BSNL Age Limit:
Candidates should have a minimum of 45 years of experience. 2 or 3 years of residual service from the date of vacancy to the date of retirement.
BSNL Salary Details:
The monthly remuneration for this position is between Rs. 75000 to Rs. 100000. Internal candidates will be required to have one year of service in the eligible scale, while others will be required to have two years of service as of the date of vacancy.
- Applicants from Central Government / All India Services should be holding a post of the level of Joint Secretary in Government of India or carrying equivalent scale of pay on the date of application.
- Applicants from the Armed forces of the Union should be holding a post of the level of Major General in the Army or equivalent rank in Navy/Air Force on the date of application.
- Applicants from State Public Sector Enterprises/ Private Sector should be working at Board level position on the date of application.
