OUAT Recruitment 2019 Announced. Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology has invited applications from the eligible candidates for recruitment to the Agromet Observer & Subject Matter Specialist posts on contractual basis under District Agromet Units of GKMS. OUAT Vacancy:
- Subject Matter Specialist (Agrometeorology) – 09
- Agromet Observer – 09
OUAT Age Limit:
Maximum 32 years (Agromet Observer) & 35 Years (Subject Matter Specialist) as on last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation is 5 years in case of ST/SC/ SEBC/ Women category candidates. The SEBC candidate should furnish ‘Non-creamy layer certificate’ for the current financial year.
OUAT Educational Qualification:
Subject Matter Specialist:
- Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture and allied science with at least 55% marks.
- Master Degree in Agro meteorology. Candidate with qualifications in Meteorology /Agronomy/Agricultural Physics will be considered but preference will be given to candidates with Agro-meteorology qualification
Agromet Observer:
- 10 + 2 in any stream i.e. Arts, Science, Commerce but preference will be given to science stream.
- Basic knowledge of computer operation
OUAT Salary:
- Subject Matter Specialist – Rs.15,600-39,100/- + G.P-Rs.5,400/-
- Agromet Observer – Rs.5,200-20,200/- + G.P-Rs.2,000/-
OUAT Selection Process:
- The applicants shall have to appear a written test of 175 marks of 2 hour duration comprising of objective type questions with multiple choice from General Knowledge-50, General English-50, and Quantitative Aptitude-75.
- Basing on the performance of the written examination the eligible candidates will be called for computer test of 25 marks.
OUAT Regarding Fees:
- 700/- (Rupees seven hundred) for ‘Subject Matter Specialist’
- 500/- (Rupees five hundred) for ‘Agromet Observer’
OUAT Application Form:
