OPSC JA Selection Process 2020:
Well, the Odisha Public Service Commission Officials are going to select the candidates for Junior Assistant Group C Position, through the Performance in Written Test and Interview.
OPSC JA Required Documents for Interview 2020:
- Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be required to submit the printout/hand copy of online application form along with true copies of the following certificates and documents. The candidates are required to mention on each document submitted and attested must be their full signature& date on the same. They must not attach original certificates to their applications. Only those, who are called for the Practical skill test, will be required to bring with them the original certificates, skill-sheets etc. of the attested copies for verification which shall be notified.
- If a candidate fails to furnish an of the original documents in respect of the attested copies submitted with the application for verification on the date of document verification he/she shall not be allowed at the Practical skill test.
- Two recent passport size photographs (unsigned & unattested) which has been uploaded with online application form
- H.S.C. or equivalent certificate in support of declaration of age issued by the concerned Boat d/Council;
- intermediate/+2 /Higher Secondary Examination Certificate issued by the concerned Board/Council;
- Degree Certificate(s) issued by recognized University as stated
- Caste Certificate by birth in support of claim as S.Cs./S.Ts./S.E.B.Cs., wherever applicable (Please see Note below);
- required Odia Test pass certificate from the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha indicating Odia as a language subject equivalent to M.E. School Standard or a certificate from the Principal/Headmaster of the School indicating that the candidate has passed Odia in M.E. Standard, if not passed Odia as a subject in the High School Certificate/equivalent examination;
- Discharge Certificates issued by the Commanding Officer of the Unit last served whenever applicable:
- Disability certificate (indicating percent of disability) issued by the concerned Medical Board wherever applicable.
OPSC Instruction to the Selected Candidates of JA 2020:
The Divisional Heads, before giving appointment to the selected candidates will see that, the newly recruited candidates fulfill all required conditions of “Postman and Mail Guard Recruitment Rules 2018”. Also, the Divisional/Unit Heads are advised to re-check the prerequisite conditions prescribed for candidates, with reference to their recommendations made while forwarding the application forms. Before issuing appointment order, the Appointing Authorities concerned are advised to go through the aforesaid recruitment rules along with Postal Directorates. The clarifications outlined therein should be strictly adhered to. The Appointing Authorities are advised to act as per instruction below:-
- Before appointment, it should be ensured that, no disciplinary/vigilance case is pending or contemplated or punishment is current against the selected candidates.
- In case, at any time, it is detected that the candidate so selected had applied and appeared the examination with false declaration or data, his/her selection will be cancelled without any notice.
- The surplus qualified candidates, allotted against unfilled vacancies of other Divisions should be informed that, they are not eligible for repatriation to their parent Divisions before completion of probation period as laid down for transfer under Rule-38 of Postal Manual Volume-IV.
