Ola intends to expand the hiring process for its electric mobility business while at the same time; the urban mobility company is in the process of laying off roughly 1,000 employees. the company intends to hire roughly 800 individuals for both cell development and car-related work.

The employees who are expected to be laid off willingly resigned, the article claims. The company is prolonging the evaluation process for certain staff it intends to let go in the interim in hopes that they will resign.
