There has been a decrease in the number of cities that will host the NEET in 2022. Although the National Testing Agency (NTA) had previously said that the NEET would be held in 546 Indian cities and 14 abroad sites, as of Tuesday’s publication of the NEET admit card, only 497 Indian cities will be hosting tests, while the number of international locations remained the same.
The NTA stated that it had received a few representations over the change of exam City when releasing the date and time of the NEET admission card. According to an official announcement from NTA, “Those representations have been investigated, and their exam city has been altered whenever practical and possible.”
This year, NTA has implemented a number of security mechanisms to the exam in response to the cheating crisis that occurred in both NEET and JEE last year.
