November 19 is a Working Day for Schools & Colleges in TN – This is the Reason! It has been announced that all schools and colleges across Tamil Nadu will function on November 19 as a working day. Last month in Tamil Nadu all schools, colleges, and educational institutes were given a holiday on the occasion of Diwali on 23rd October.
Also, an additional day off was given on October 24, the day after Diwali. Educational institutions across the state were completely closed on this holiday. So, only one extra day of the holiday was given to facilitate the students and employees who returned to their hometowns due to the festival and to return to their workplaces.

Now, to equal up for this holiday, it has been announced that the coming Saturday, November 19, will be observed as a working day. Accordingly, it has been informed that all the schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu will function as usual the day after tomorrow.
