NITK Eligibility Criteria

• For the post of Junior Research Fellowship candidate should have completed BE or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and should secures minimum aggregate marks of 60% or (6.5 /10 CGPA) and ME or M.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering technology or Metallurgical and Material Engineering with minimum of 60% aggregate Score or (6.5/10 CGPA).
• Candidate must complete GATE. GATE mark will add advantage in this recruitment. Candidate who has appeared for ME or MTech and waiting for result can also apply for this recruitment. Candidate age should not exceed the maximum age limit of 30 years.
• Candidates who have work experience related to metal forming, LASER processing, material characterization, analysis and having good knowledge in fundamentals of Materials and Metallurgy will get advantages. Candidate gets priority if they have ability to work in team and good communication skills and experience in experimental research.

JRF Salary Details

The project will be conducted for 3 years and extended if required for the first and second year the selected candidate will get paid for Rs. 31,000 per month and for Third year the candidate get paid for Rs. 35,000 per month. NIT JRF Selection Process

Selection process for Junior Research h Fellowship NIT included written test and Online Interview. Based on the application shortlisted candidates will be informed by email to attend written test. Based on the marks obtained from the written test candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview. Proof of M. Tech / M.E viva voce competition certificate has to be provided during the time of interview.
