North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) invites online application from eligible candidates for the post of Research Scientist for 12 vacancies and scheduled the Applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (Geotagging of NERTPS assets) for 09 vacancies in various states. Candidates with the qualification of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Metrology, Geology and Extra are eligible to apply for this job. North-Eastern Space Applications Centre: It was set up with a joint initiative of DOS and NEC in September 2000 at Shillong in Meghalaya. The centre has been declared as a protected area by the state government. This centre presently focuses on a satellite communication programme and space science research programmes, Remote sensing and Geographic information systems. The objective of NESAC is to search and utilize the natural resources present in the region using remote sensing.

NESAC Research Scientist Monthly Remuneration 2020:
Level 10 of the Pay Matrix Rs. 56100 – 177500) Plus HRA & Medical Benefit for Self and Rs. 31000/- plus HRA & Medical Benefit for Self.
