Nearly 2 Lakh Jobs Created – 1 Lakh New Enterprises!! Here are the Detailed News from Kerala State!! While thousands of employees are affected due to layoffs, many are getting employment through employment camps and business investments across the country. In that way, in the last eight months, Kerala has created a record of 1 lakh new entrepreneurs.
Industries Minister P. Rajeev said that more than one lakh companies have been started in Kerala in the last 8 months and 6,282 crore rupees have been invested. It is reported that around 2,20,500 people have got job opportunities in the state through these investments. In particular, 17,958 new ventures were created in the agriculture and food processing sectors and more than 58,000 people were employed.

Similarly, 11,672 new companies have been started in the apparel and textile sector. Also, more than 25,000 new businesses are reported to have been started by women. Under this new initiative, most recruitments are reported in Thrissur, Ernakulam, Malappuram, Kollam, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Kannur, and Alappuzha districts.
