Education Qualification
Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major study in engineering, physical science, mathematics, life sciences, computer science, or other field of science is mandatory.
Required Experience
Candidate must be a recognized subject matter expert with at least 1 year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-15 level. Experience sufficient to provide the NESC with in-depth technical insight into NASA’s programs, to evaluate the programs’ technical decisions and rationale, and to determine when an independent assessment is warranted.

Shortlisted candidates are eligible to get a salary $135,522 to $189,947 per year from the respective board. The appointment type is Temporary promotion within 3 years to 5 years.
