MP Board 9th and 11th Result 2021 Delayed – Check MPBSE New Result Date Here. Examination results of government schools affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Board of Education will be announced on May 15 amid the second wave of Corona epidemic. Going by the official announcement, the MPBSE Class 9 Result 2021 has been postponed owing to the lockdown and travel restrictions imposed in the state due to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the state.
Results to be Based on Internal Assessment: According to the latest information, the examination results will be compared to the performance of the students in the revision examination held from November 20 to November 28 and the half-yearly examinations conducted from February 1 to February 9. Both performances will be better used for student evaluation. If a student scored better in the November exam, those scores would be considered. Then the result will be calculated based on the best 5 subjects. If the student fails 1 out of 6 subjects and is not able to score, he / she will be declared a pass.
As part of the internal assessment process, schools have to consider best of 5 subjects formula. Simply put, if a student fails in 1 subject (scores below 33% marks) in 1 subject, overall he is to be considered as passed and is to be promoted to next grade.
For 2020 session, the Madhya Pradesh Board has decided to promote students on the basis of internal assessment keeping in mind the safety of students during the pandemic. Earlier, the State Education Department had also released the detailed evaluation criteria for promotion of Class 9 students, which is to be followed by Schools this year.
