Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology has released the Application form, Eligibility, Dates, Exam Pattern and Syllabus. Students stay connected with our website and apply for the exam from now.Also students can download the admit card from 30.04.2020.
MET 2020 Exam Details:
- Entrance test will be of objective type as per the schedule of examination. The candidates are required to select suitable paper(s) for appearing in the entrance test as mentioned below subject to their eligibility, and the course(s) in which admission is being sought. Every objective type question would carry four marks for correct answer.
- Each objective type question will have one correct answer. The answer would be considered correct only if the appropriate choice is indicated in the answer. There will be minus one (-1) mark for each wrong answer. A record of incorrect answers given by a candidate will be kept separately. Zero marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.
MET 2020 Exam Medium:
- Medium of Entrance Test The question paper contains questions only in “English”
MET 2020 Application Fee:
- The candidates must ensure that after submitting the online application form, no changes are allowed in any field at later stage. In special circumstances, if they request any modification/correction at later stage, they are required to pay a charge of Rs. 500/- per application. The amount of Rs. 500/- may be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur payable at Gorakhpur.
MET 2020 Eligibility:
B.Tech- First Year / BBA
- The candidates must have passed class 12th or its equivalent.
- The candidates must have passed 12th class or its equivalent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have obtained at least 60% marks.
B.Tech. (Second Year) Lateral Entry
- Diploma holders:Passed 3/4 year diploma examination from an institution recognized by U.P. Board of Technical Education in any branch of engineering/ technology except agriculture engineering with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST category)
- Sc. graduates:Passed 3/4 year B.Sc. degree from any recognized University of India as defined by UGC with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST category) and having passed 10+2 exam with Mathematics as a subject.
M.Tech
- Candidates must have a first-class B.E/ B.Tech in a relevant discipline. The admission to M.Tech courses will be granted on the basis of joint merit of GATE and MET score. The weightage of GATE and MET score will be 40% and 60% respectively.
MCA
- The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelors’s degree of minimum three years duration from any University of India as defined by UGC with mathematics at 10+2 level and obtained minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST category) in the qualifying examination.
M.sc
- The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree in science stream of minimum three years duration from the any University of India as recognized by UGC. The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Chemistry as a subject for all three years and obtained minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST category) in the qualifying examination.
PhD
- Candidates who possess the Bachelor and master’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Management or equivalent in the relevant discipline with 1st Division in Master’s Degree are eligible for admission to Ph.D.Programme.
