The deadline for submitting an online application for TN PWD jobs in 2022 is January 19, 2022. The deadline to apply for PWD Tamil Nadu is January 25, 2022. A degree in engineering or technology conferred by a Statutory University in the relevant subject and granted by an Institution entitled to grant such a degree by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline is required of the candidate. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology issued by a State Council or Board of Technical Education created by a State Government in relevant discipline, as well as a Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline, is required.

Shortlisted candidates are eligible for a salary of Rs. 9000/- per month for Graduate Apprentices and Rs. 8000/- per month for Technician (Diploma) Apprentices from the appropriate board. Apprenticeship training shall last one year, as stipulated by the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973. The percentage of marks acquired in the basic prescribed qualification as relevant to the individual disciplines will be used to shortlist candidates. Candidates who have been shortlisted will be notified via their registered email address. Candidates who have been shortlisted must present for Certificate Verification at the PWD in Chennai.
