Madras High Court Eligibility Criteria 2021:
Judicial member – The Candidate should possess an experience of atleast 10 years as Presiding Officer of a District Court or of any Tribunal at equivalent level or combined service as such in District Court and Tribunal.
Non-Judicial member – The candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree from a recognised University and is a person of ability, integrity and standing, and has special knowledge and professional experience of not less than twenty years in consumer affairs, law, public affairs, administration, economics, commerce, industry, finance, management, engineering, technology, public health or medicine.
MHC Minimum Eligibility 2021:
The candidate applying for the post/s notified above must necessarily know to read, write and speak Tamil.
Madras High Court Age Limit 2021:
- A Candidate must have attained the age of 40 years and should not have attained the age of 61 years.
- Applicants should not have been born after 02.07.1981 and should not have been born before 02.07.1960.
Madras High Court Salary Details:
The Salary Offered for above said post is As per Rule 4 of the Tamil Nadu Consumer Protection (Salary, Allowances and Conditions of Service of President and Members of the State Commission and District Commission) Rules, 2021.
Madras High Court Application Fee 2021:
A Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.1, 000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for each post shall be drawn in favour of „The Registrar General, High Court, Madras‟ and shall be enclosed with each application.
Madras High Court Selection Process:
- The Selection will be made on merit, based on the performance of the candidates in the viva voce to be conducted by the Selection Committee to assess their suitability, record of past performance, integrity and adjudicatory experience.
- Call letters indicating the venue for the viva – voce will be sent to the short-listed candidates well in advance.
