Local Holiday on Tomorrow for Salem And Ranipet Districts: The district administration of Salem and Ranipet has declared a local holiday on Tomorrow (09.08.2023) to celebrate the ‘Aadi Krithigai’ festival. In Salem, all the Amman temples across the district will celebrate the Aadi festival on tomorrow, so the district administration has decided to announce leave.
The local holiday in Ranipet district was announced by district collector Mrs. Valarmathy, she also states that to compensate for this holiday, August 12 (Saturday) will be a working day for all schools and colleges across the Ranipet district. The districts across the state will get holidays in August widespread because the Tamil month Aadi falls in August and this is considered as one of the suitable months for temple function.
