Last Date Reminder from Central Govt. Department!! Check the Recent News on PAN and Aadhaar Link: The government of India has made an order to link the PAN (Permanent Account Number) and aadhaar card which was issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India. The last date to link these details has been changed several times. Recently the Income Tax Department has made an announcement regarding the Pan and aadhaar link.
The last date to link the Pan and aadhaar is 31.03.2023. For citizens who are failed to link the details, their Pan will be inoperative from 1.04.2023. People are instructed to link before the last date to avoid unwanted issues. The Income Tax Department recently tweeted by reminding the last date.
The department has exempted certain people to link the Pan and aadhaar card. Those peoples don’t want to link the details. The exempted peoples are
1. The residents of Assam, Meghalaya, and Jammu & Kashmir.
2. A Non-resident as per the income tax act 1961.
3. Senior citizens with 80 years of age or more.
4. Not a citizen of India.
These four category people are exempted from linking the pan and aadhaar details.
