KVS Admission 2022 23 Class 1, 2, 6 & 11 Last Date Online Portal in Hindi: Check New Criteria. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan admission plea in the high court on Thursday March 10, 2022 and defended KVS center and also 6 years of age the minimum criteria for seeking admissions in Class 1. The counsel said that the change was in accordance with the National Education Policy, NEP 2020. The case hearing on 14.03.2022.
The Centre told the bench, comprising of Justice Rekha Palli, that the decision of changing the age limit and in alignment with NEP 2020 is something all government schools, especially Kendriya Vidyalayas are bound to follow.
In NEP 2020, the 10+2 system has changed to “5+3+3+4” system. As per the board norms the age limit for class 1 is earlier low now they changed the age criteria to 6years. So, the students can refer through it and parents can follow the criteria. The age criteria for admission to Class 1 are 5 to 6 years.
Delhi High Court asked question about how this age criteria has worked out and counsel asked to take instructions on the issue and has listed the case for further hearing on March 14, 2022. The petition was made on 02.03.2022 regarding age criteria for class 1 as the petitioner had 05 year old daughter he filled the petition. The new age policy revision was in violation of the Right to Education 2099, Act, and Articles 14, 21 and 21 A of the constitution which also guarantee the right to education and the Delhi School Education Act, 1973.
The petitioner waited for the revision in age limit and four days before the registration process the revision in age criteria takes place. Parents of six year old child can refer through it and ready to register for the Class 1 Admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya.
