Kerala schools, colleges to open on June 1st!!!
The schools and colleges in the state will be reopened on June 1st . In the wake of Covid 19, classes will be undertaken online. In the Covid context, classes will be online this time as well. Kids can watch classes on the Kite Victor’s channel and online.
The decision to reopen colleges was taken in the meeting of vice-chancellors chaired by higher education minister R Bindhu. From June 15 onwards, the last semester /last year exams of graduation and post-graduation will be undertaken. The minister has also directed vice-chancellors to publish the results within July 31st.

Classes one through ten is currently open June 1st. A decision regarding Plus Two classes will be made soon. The decision was delayed due to non-completion of Plus One classes and exams.
The first class will have an online entrance ceremony. Public Education Minister V Sivankutty will hold a press conference on the start of the academic year.
The final year undergraduate and postgraduate examinations will be scheduled from June 15. The minister also directed to publish the results by July 31.
More and more universities are showing interest in offline exams. In the meantime, the VCs’ meeting will discuss the draft outline released by the UGC on online learning by June 3. Suggestions will be communicated to the UGC.
