JKBOSE Announces Mass Promotion for Class 11 Students Without Exams – Check Details Here!!! The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) has announced a mass promotion of Class 11 students from the Kashmir division/ winter zone districts of Jammu division (Private/Bi-Annuals 2021). The examinations for Class 11 were set to begin today, September 23, 2021. The exam has been cancelled, and now students will be promoted based on their performance from the previous year.

“The decision has been taken due to a lack of time left for conducting approaching yearly examinations in Kashmir division, winter zone areas of Jammu division,” according to the official announcement.
Students will be promoting the Class 11 students of the board without conducting the summer and winter zones exams of the Kashmir Division and the Winter Zone exams of the Jammu Division. These candidates will be eligible to appear for class 12 board exams if they maintain a minimum of 66 per cent attendance in offline or online classes held during the academic session 2022-21, as per the official notice.

As a one-time measure, students who applied for a subject change, extra topics, or other categories will be declared as passed in class 11 in the corresponding courses. Students must have passed the main exams in all required subjects.
If it is discovered that a candidate is not eligible to appear in 2020-21 for whatever reason, the board reserves the authority to cancel the promotion without warning.
