JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Droppers:

The candidates appearing for the JEE min exam doesn’t requires any age limit criteria. The students passed the class 12 or equivalent exam in 2020, 2021 or 2022 can appear for the exams. But the candidates have to consider the age limit criteria of the university in which they wish to get admission.

The candidate appearing for the JEE Main exam 2022 must have completed the qualifying exams like- final examination of the 10+2 system (of any recognized Central/State Board), Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination of a recognized Board/ University, Final examination of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy, Senior Secondary School Examination of the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.

 Examination in India or any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system.  Candidates completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) outside India or other should produce a certificate of  Association of Indian Universities (AIU) if Class 12 Examination is not a public examination, the candidate must passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination earlier is also acceptable as qualifying exam to  appear JEE Main 2022.

The candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2022, are only  eligible for  JEE (Main) – 2022.Candidates passed  Class 12/equivalent examination in 2019 or before or  those who appear in such examination in 2023 or later are not eligible for JEE (Main)2022.
