IOCL Selection Process 2021- Trade/ Technician Apprentice:

• The Selection shall be on the basis of performance of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Written Test and meeting the eligibility criteria.
• The Written Test will be conducted with Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) consisting of four options with one correct option.

Important Dates:

• Last Date to Apply- 28.08.2021
• Written Test Will Be Conducted On 19th September 2021 (Sunday).
• Document Verification Is 27tth September 2021.

IOCL Exam Pattern:

The subject of the exam will vary with respect to the post they will be applied for as follows.

Trade Apprentice (Accountant):

• Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning Abilities
• Basic English Language Skills

Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator):

• Generic Aptitude and Reasoning
• General English
• Numerical Aptitude
• General Knowledge/Awareness

Trade Apprentice (Retail Sales Associate):

• Generic Aptitude
• Reasoning Abilities
• Basic English

Trade Apprentice (all others) & Technician Apprentice (all others):

• Technical Acumen in relevant discipline
• Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning Abilities
• Basic English Language Skills

IOCL Next Phase:

As per the notification, the minimum qualifying marks for the written test will be 40%. This will be relaxable by 5% for candidates from SC/ST/PwBD categories. After this exam, eligible candidates will be subjected to the Pre-engagement medical fitness. Candidates are advised to ensure that they are medically fit as per Indian Oil’s pre-engagement medical standard. Eligible candidates will be subjected to the Document Verification.
