On Wednesday the union government cabinet of India was organized by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In that cabinet meeting that was planned to extend the time period of prime ministers Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana policy to provide 5 kg free ration. The ration products are the food grains. This policy will be continued to another four month.
Exactly, this great offer will be provide till the March month of next year 2022. Union Minister Anurag Thakur said to reporters that, “The government has decided to extend additional free 5-kg food grains scheme by four months till March 2022”.

The Indian government has planned that food grain given as ration products to the Indian ration cardholders under Phase five would contain an estimated food subsidy of Rs 53,344.52 crores. The 5 kg of ration products is being provided over and above the normal quota of Indian poverty line under the law order of (NFSA) National Food Security Act. Rs 53,344 crores amount will be additionally needed to achieve this policy by the Indian government.
