Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Rules 2021 Released – Download and Check the Official Notification – Ministry of Defense, Indian Coast Guard has released recruitment rules for the post of Draughtsman Group ‘C’, Junior Translation Officer Group ‘B’ at finance division, Chief Film Librarian Group ‘B’ at Armed Forces Film and Photo Division and Draughtsman (Grade-III) (Civil), Carpenter (Grade-III) and Painter (Grade-III)} Group ‘C’. Candidates who are going to apply for the recruitment can check the Selection process and Eligibility criteria. Indian Coast Guard has recently released a notification regards recruitment rules which contains the Eligibility criteria, Selection Process and Salary Details for the listed posts.
Indian Coast Guard Vacancy 2021:
There were 10 vacancies offered Draughtsman Group ‘C’,70 for Junior Translation Officer Group `B`, 1 for Chief Film Librarian Group ‘B’, 2 for Draughtsman (Grade-III) (Civil), 2 for Carpenter (Grade-III), and 1 for Painter (Grade-III)
Indian Coast Guard Age limit:
Draughtsman Group ‘C’: Candidate’s age should between 18 to 25 years age relaxation for the Government servants will be given up to 40 years and up to 45 years for Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes.
Junior Translation Officer Group `B`: Age limit of the candidate should not exceed the maximum age limit of 30 years and 5 years of age relaxation will be given to Government servants
Carpenter Grade-III and Painter Grade II: Candidates age should between 18 to 25 years and relaxation will be given as per government of India norms

ICG Eligibility
Draughtsman Group ‘C’: Candidates should completed Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical or Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture and Ship construction from a recognized University or institution or should have certificate in Draughtsman ship in any of the above said disciplines from an industrial training institute. Candidates who have one year of work experience in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical or Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture and Ship construction from Government or statutory or autonomous Organization, Public Sector Undertaking or University or private organization will get advantages.
Junior Translation Officer Group `B`: Candidates should have completed master in Hindi with English or English with Hindi Or studied Hindi or English as compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. Candidate should have completed Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in central or state Government office, including Government of India Undertaking
Chief Film Librarian Group ‘B’: Candidates should have completed Degree from a recognized University or institute and should have 2 years experience in Film Storage and Distribution.
Painter Grade II: Candidates should have Industrial Training Institute certificate or Ex-trade apprentices or National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades inducted in the semiskilled grade with two years service in that grade, or serving or Ex-servicemen belonging to the trade to the Painter and Painter and Decorator of Army or equivalent.
Carpenter Grade-III: Candidates should completed Industrial Training Institute certificate in the Carpentry trade or its equivalent or serving or Ex-servicemen belonging to the trade of Carpenter and Jointer of Army
ICG Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected for 2 years under probation and the contract period gets extended based on the performance of the candidate. Candidates will be selected on Direct Recruitment method which is selected based on their holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department and qualification and experience prescribed for direct recruits
