The announcement lists, category-by-category for each Recruiting Division/Unit, the provisional openings for Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) to Postman/Mail Guard and Competitive Examination to Postman/Mail Guard and Multi-Tasking Staff. The advertised openings could change.
For the year 2022, Chennai city Region, revised provisional vacancies for LDCE/CE from MTS/GDS to Postman/Mail Guard are 216+ for 25% of the LDCE Quota, and 393+ for 50% of the Direct Recruitment on the basis of Competitive Exam confined to GDS.The numbers are 74+ and 128+ for the Central Region, 92+ and 166+ for the Southern Region, and 94+ and 165+ for the Western Region.
Unfilled positions from the GDS/casual labourers seniority quota will be added to the competitive exam quota, so the 35% CE quota openings are subject to change.
