India Post Recruitment 2021 Eligibility criteria

Age limit

Candidate age limit should be between 18 years to 30years is Mandatory to apply for this India post recruitment.

Education Qualification

• For Staff Card driver post: Candidate should pass in 10th standard from a recognized board or Institute and possession of a valid driving license for light and heavy Motor vehicles. Then candidate should have knowledge of Motor Mechanism is Mandatory. Candidate who should have Three years service as Home guard or Civil Volunteers is Preferred.
• For Despatch Rider post: Candidate should pass in 8^th standard and possession of a valid driving license to drive all the three types of vehicles such Motor Cycle, Three Wheeler and Light Motor Vehicle.

India Post Recruitment 2021 Selection process

• Selection of Driver shall be made on the basis of test as prescribed by Department to assess their competency to drive light and heavy motor vehicles including knowledge of Motor Mechanisms and ability to remove minor defects in vehicle from amongst the candidates possessing the requisite eligibility criteria.
• Selection of Despatch Rider shall be made on the basis of test in driving designed to adjudge the suitability for the post with reference to standards of competence considered essential in driving for Motor Cycles / Scooter / Three Wheeler / Light vehicle from amongst the candidates possessing the requisite eligibility criteria.
• The date and venue of the tests will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates. No intimation will be sent in respect of other applicants who are not eligible.

• Photocopies of following certificates duly attested by Gazetted officer / self attested
• Proof of date of birth
• Educational qualification

• Two copies of recent passport size photographs attested by Gazetted officer / self attested. One should be pasted on the application form and the other should be attached with the application form.
