India Post Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidate maximum age limit for appointment by deputation/absorption shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application is mandatory to apply for India Post Recruitment 2021.

For Deputation/Absorption of officials in the Department of Posts: Candidate who should possess valid Driving License for light and heavy motor vehicle on the basis of a Trade test/Driving test to assess the competency to drive light and heavy motor vehicle is mandatory.

For Other Ministries of the central Government and Armed Forces personnel: Candidate should pass in 10^th standard from a recognized board or institute is mandatory. Candidate should possession of a valid Driving license for light and heavy motor vehicles, should have knowledge of motor mechanism. Candidate should have experience of driving light and heavy motor vehicle for at least three years.

For Ex-Serviceman: The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualification prescribed shall also be considered.

Shortlisted candidates are eligible of staff car Driver (Ordinary Grade) in the pay matrix level 02 as per 7^th CPC in the Department of posts. It will be regularized as per pay rule.
