IIT Madras Offers Free Courses with Placement!!! Graduates are Eligible to Apply!!!

IIT Madras Offers Free Courses in AL, ML, Cyber Security & Computer Graphics With Placement Option. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, the top-ranked institution in India according to the Government of India’s rankings, is providing free courses in “advanced technologies.” The best students will also be eligible for jobs at the Sony India Software Center. The Pravartak Technologies Foundation will arrange for the remaining students’ interviews through the IITM PTF placement cell in order to aid in their placement in other businesses.

The selection of students for engineering degrees will be based on their academic performance. Students who graduated in 2020–2021 or 2021–2022 with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 60% and whose parents earn less than RS. 8 lakh a year are eligible to enrol.

A written entrance exam and an interview would both be required for selection. Students are eligible for a stipend offered under the training programme if they pass the evaluation with the highest score.

Because of a cooperation between Pravartak Technologies Foundation and Sony India Software Center, these courses are intended to equip students from economically underprivileged backgrounds with technological skills that are marketable.

The programme, known as the “Sony India Finishing School Skill Development Training Program,” will teach a few specific abilities, such as business communication as well as artificial intelligence, machine learning (AI/ML), cyber security, and computer graphics. Anyone interested may apply by visiting sonyfs.pravartak.org.in.

About six months are needed to complete the course. The IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation will supply classrooms for the full-time course, which will be taught in the traditional classroom setting. Students who successfully complete the training programme will be given certificates.

Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, highlighted the potential effects of this programme by saying, “This programme is aimed to bridge the knowledge and skill gap that exists between graduating students and the industry’s requirement. We anticipate that this programme will be beneficial to many of pupils, especially those from rural areas of India.
