Convention of IIT Madras Alumni Association, Indian Institute of Technology Chennai Tamil Nadu launched by IIT Madras!! Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi, who worked as an officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS), 1976 batch, from the Kerala cadre, and got retired in 2012 after serving as the Special Director of the Intelligence Bureau, will inaugurate ‘Sangam 2021’. It is the occasion of flagship annual convention of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, later this week.

According to the plan, the fourth edition of the Sangam is to start on December 18. At this event alumni of Madras IIT will host panel discussions and be spread over four months till March 2022 under the theme of ‘Restoring Balance in STEM’ (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
10,000 and above members of participants, including former and current students of IIT Madras are expected to participate in this function. Two sessions on ‘Restoring Balance in STEM Research and Machine Behavior or Human Intelligence will take place on January 2022, and two sessions on ‘Space the Final Frontier’ will be executed on February.

In the month March of next year, a session on catching them young, ‘Inspiring girls to take on STEM courses, will be take place. Great IT organization Infosys Co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, CMC Vellore, professor Gagandeep Kang, Almitra Patel, India’s first woman engineer from Massachusetts Institute of Technology are expected to participate in this great occasion of Convention of IIT Madras Alumni Association. This is the time for celebration.
