IGNCA Project Assistant Recruitment 2021 eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must fulfil all of the eligibility criteria before applying online for the IGNCA Project Assistant Recruitment 2021. Candidates must have the necessary qualifications and experience for the role.
  • Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Arts/Humanities Science/Media/Mass Communication/Journalism; Culture related or associated area from a recognised university. He or she should be extremely knowledgeable about Microsoft Office, as well as basic proposal writing and event management skills. Prior work experience of at least 3 years in organising similar events and/or in the arts and culture space, either as a person or as part of a Government or private arts organisation, and/or interacting/working in a media setting with very strong written and oral communication skills in English, Kannada and Hindi.
  • Project Assistant: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from a recognised university in a culture-related or related area. It is required that you have prior research experience in Art History, Cultural Studies, Cultural Anthropology, Folk & Tribal Research, Civilization and Cognitive Studies, Heritage and archival documentation. He or she should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, among other programmes. Candidates with a strong study history would be prioritised. And at least one year of demonstrable and/or recorded study and documentation experience.

IGNCA Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate IGNCA RCB outreach programmes (concerts, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, lectures, and film screenings, among other things) primarily in Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka and South India.
  • Prepare annual and quarterly reports, as well as programme plans and budgets.
  • Liaison with other art and culture organisations, as well as government departments, to host programmes and ensure their smooth execution
  • Documentation of completed programmes should be coordinated – Audio/Video archiving and written notes
  • Work under the direction and supervision of the IGNCA RCB Regional Director.
  • The Project Assistant will report to the Regional Director, IGNCA RCB, and will assist in the organisation of culture-related academic projects.
  • Will assist with research surveys, literature searches, proposal writing/reporting, academic management, meeting planning, evaluations, seminars, seminar planning, and conference planning

IGNCA Salary Details 2021:
