ICSI Released a Notice Regarding June 2021 Exam: ICSI has released an announcement in the form of notice on its official site. The notice contains the announcement regarding the clarification of eligibility of students whose registration has lapsed /will lapse, for June 2021. ICSI:
ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) is a statutory professional body in India under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Corporate Affairs which has the aim of promoting, regulating and developing the profession of company secretaries in India. This institute is conducting some exams named as CSEET, CS June, Examinations for Foundation Programme, Executive programme and Professional programme and etc. In this regard of CS June 2021, the board had decided to conduct the examination from June 01, 2021 to June 10, 2021.
Postpone of Exam:
But the board has postponed the examination. With a view to protect the interests of the candidates, their well-being and safety in view of Covid-19 Pandemic situation, the institute has decided to postpone the Examinations for Foundation Programme, Executive programme (old and New syllabus) and Professional programme (old and New Syllabus). The new dates are not announced yet. In this situation the board has released a notice regarding the clarification of eligibility of students whose registration has lapsed /will lapse, for June 2021.
The Notice Said:
The new notice states that, due to postponement of June 2021 session of examination, it is clarified that students whose registration at the time of submitting their enrollment request for June 2021 Session of Examination were valid, they all will be treated eligible to appear in the CS June 2021 Examination without seeking De-novo Registration, irrespective of the dates when the said examinations are actually being conducted. The said facility is only for appearing in June 2021 Examination. If student concerned wishes to avail any other services (i.e. undergoing various training programs of Institute, etc.), he/she has to renew his/her registration as per defined procedure.
