ICMR Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidate age limit for Project Scientist is 40 years, Project Multi-Tasking Staff is 25 years, Data Entry Operator and Technician age limit is 28 years, Technical Support and Technical Officer age limit is 30 years is mandatory.

Education Qualification and Required Experience

For Project Scientist

Candidates should possess Ist class Master Degree in Microbiology or Virology or Immunology or Biotechnology from a recognized university with 4 years research in above said subject areas or 2nd class M.Sc +PhD degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university with 4 years research experience above said subject areas or BDS/B.V.Sc& AH degree recognized by DCI/VCI with five years research experience in above said subject areas after BDS/B.V.Sc degree or B.Tech in Biotechnology with Six years research experience above said subject areas after B.Tech degree.

For Project Multitasking staff

Candidate should have High school or equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Science Previous experience in working in clinical laboratories or other research organizations is needed.

For Data Entry Operator

Candidate should have Intermediate or 12th pass in science stream from recognized board with DOEACC ‘A’ level from a recognized institute and /or 2 years’ experience in EDP work in government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization. A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer is needed.

For Project Technical Support

Candidate should have 12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical laboratory technician or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years field/Laboratory experience* in government recognized organization.* B.Sc degree shall be treated as 3 years’ experience is needed.

For Technical Officer

Candidate should have Post graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with one year experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with two years’ experience or MBBS degree with 4 years’ experience in medical subjects after MBBS degree.

For Technician

Candidate should have High School or equivalent with five years’ experience in related field from a Government institution or recognized institute or certificate of one year training in the relevant area of ITI or National Trade certificate of National Council for Vocational Training and successful completion of ATS in relevant trade from a Government recognized board.

ICMR Recruitment 2022 Salary Details

Shortlisted candidates are eligible to get a salary for Project Scientist is Rs. 67,000/- PM, for Project Multi-Tasking Staff is Rs. 18000/- PM, for Data Entry Operator, Technical Support is Rs. 20000/- PM, Technical Officer salary is Rs. 32000/- PM, and Technician salary is Rs. 17000/- PM from the respective board.

ICMR Selection process

Selection will be based on the performance in an online/written test and/or interview. The date & mode of the test will be communicated later. In case the number of candidates is large, only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
