ICMR Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidate age limit for Project Technical support is 33 years, for Senior Project Research Fellow is 35 years, for Project Administrative support, project technical support –II age limit is 30 years, and for further posts age limit is 28 years is mandatory.
Education Qualification
Project Technical Support IV (Research Assistant): Candidate should have Graduate degree in Science from a recognized university with 3 years’ work experience in the relevant subjects from a recognized institution Or Master’s degree in Science from a recognized university.
Senior Project Research Fellow (SRF): Master’s Degree in Life Science/Biotechnology from a recognized university with 2 years of research experience in Malaria or/other vector borne diseases.
Project Administrative Support-III (Project Assistant): Graduate in science from a recognized university with three years relevant work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in science from a recognized university.
Project Technical Support – II: 12th Pass in Science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or One-year DMLT + one year laboratory experience in recognized organization Or Two years Field/Laboratory experience in Govt. recognized organization.
Project Technical Support – I: High School* or equivalent with one year experience in related field from a Government institution or recognized institute or certificate of one year training in the relevant area or ITI or National Trade Certificate of National Council for Vocational Training and successful completion of ATS in a relevant trade from a Government recognized board.
Project Administrative Support: 10 th Pass/ High school or equivalent is mandatory.
ICMR Salary Details
Shortlisted candidates are eligible to get a salary for Project Technical Support IV (Research Assistant) is Rs. 31,000/-PM, for Senior Project Research Fellow (SRF) is Rs. 35,000/- PM, for Project Administrative Support-III (Project Assistant) is Rs. 31,000/- PM, for Project Technical Support – II is Rs. 18,000/- PM and for Project Administrative Support salary is Rs. 15,800/-PM from the respective board.

Selection of Candidate will be based on the performance in the interview. The shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview via e-mail. Shortlisting of candidates for interview shall be done on basis of educational qualification and experience. However, if the numbers of shortlisted candidates are high and it is not feasible to call all of them, the appointing authority may fix suitable criteria for shortlisting the candidates.
