Age Limit for JRF :
The minimum age will be 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules. Relaxation for SC/ ST/ Women/ PH and OBC as per Government of India norms.
Educational Qualification for JRF:
Candidates must have to complete Postgraduate Degree in Basic Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ engineering/ technology/ veterinary science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Postgraduate Degree in Professional Course.
Salary Details for JRF:
ICAR-VPKAS gives the pay of Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA @ 8% per month for JRF, Rs. 12000/ per month for Field Assistant candidates and Rs. 25,000/- consolidated per month for Young Professional- II candidates.

- They are requested to fill the application form indicating all details, photograph for each project separately alongwith self attested copies of certificates in support of age (Class 10th Certificate), qualifications, experience.
- No-objection certificate from the employer/University in case he/she is in employment elsewhere/ studying.
- The candidates are necessarily required to produce all original certificates/dissertation/thesis which will be returned to them.
- The above position is on contractual basis, purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project.
- The place of work will be at ICAR-VPKAS, Almora/ Hawalbagh or at the project site.
- The selected candidate shall not claim any regular employment at this Institute, as the position is co-terminus with the project.
- No T.A/ D.A will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
- The number of positions may increase and decrease as per requirements.
