CASB Airmen Group X, Y Provisional Selection List:

Central Airmen Selection Board had released a notification for the Airmen Group X, Group Y (STAR – NOV 2020 – JAN 2021 for intake 02/2021. Many candidates have applied this recruitment. The applicants were waiting for the provisional selection list. Now the wait is over. The board has released the provisional list on the official site. Earlier it was planned to publish on 30 Apr 21. This postponement was made due to COVID19 situation. Now it is released on 31 May 21 (Today).

The provisional select list is displayed as per the merit position of the candidates and it includes more number of candidates than the actual vacancy to cater for deficiencies that may arise on the day of enrolment due to absenteeism, medical unfitness, unwillingness etc. Candidates whose names do not appear in PSL although have passed the selection tests denotes that they are low in merit hence, failed to secure place in PSL. However it does not consist of all qualifiers but only those who rank higher up in terms of merit and therefore, become eligible for final enrolment.

Enrolment List and Appeal Medical Board:

The medical disposal (FIT / UNFIT) of the candidate is Provisional. The candidature of the candidates who have become UNFIT / ABSENT in the Appeal Medical Board (AMB) automatically stands cancelled (R) cancelled. Enrolment List will be published tentatively on 10-07-2021 and instructions for the same will be published in the column ‘Instructions for the Candidates’ on the first page of the Enrolment List.
