Main Job Purpose:
The Lever Edge project is among the most important innovation in the CD IT space that will drive additional revenue and open new gaps against competition. This is a highly critical business application and any disruption directly impacts turnover. The landscape for Lever Edge is very complex covering multiple solutions – SAP, Mobility, SAP BW, News page , Centegy S&D Pro , IQ Bespoke applications, etc. and covering a very large user base (5000+) mostly speaking local language outside of Unilever. Now there is a need to establish and design solution which can work in horizon of 3 to 5 years, a robust solution design covering all aspects of solution architecture: Application, Data, technology, Infrastructure and security etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Standardize the design governance process across LE services
- Solution design considering all aspects of solutions – Application, technology, data, integration, infrastructure and security.
- Drive the design discussion and review/approve the high-level solution design documents with team
- Drive the discussion on non-functional requirements and solutions
- Provide the multiple solution options and lead solution recommendation to complex business requirements
- Drive the decision making on solution options with multiple stakeholder – PO, Devops, EA, RTM and senior LT members
- Help the support team/Devops team on technical query
- Collaborate with Devops Manager and Product owner to bring outside in perspective for LE
- Application Design and Development; work closely with Business Engagement to design enhancements to the platform
Key Requirements:
- Educated to bachelor’s degree level.
- Relevant professional certification (like TOGAF) will be an added advantage, other certification on IT services like ITIL, PMP will be bonus
- Should have hands on experience on one of programming language, hands on one database and hands on one cloud.
- Awareness on multiple clouds like AWS, Azure.
- Understand the depth the cloud concept like IAAS/PAAS/SAAS
- Should be able to do the market scan for new ask with enterprise architecture.
- Has extensive previous experience 12 years + at Unilever or similar organization of in IT solution architecture design.
