According to the HC order, there is an exemption for visually challenged people from the Tamil eligibility test. The group 2 mains exam comprises of Tamil eligibility test and general studies (Descriptive form). Now the High Court gave exemption to visually impaired candidates from the Tamil eligibility test.
A blind person filed a case in HC to claim the exemption from the eligibility test and the HC enquired about the case and issued an order. So they need not to take the eligibility test. This is one of the happy news for visually challenged people.
