HC Cancelled the 5th and 8th STD Exams!!! Check Here to Know The Order Issued by the High Court of Karnataka: The Karnataka state government has planned to take many measures to improve their student’s knowledge. Recently the state government has planned to conduct the state-level assessment board exams for class 5 and class 8 students who are following the state board syllabus. This exam has been planned to be held from March 13.
Regarding this, a petition was filed by aided and unaided school’s management association. This petition was inquired by the single judge bench of Justice Pradeep Singh Yerur and ordered to cancel the three circulars issued by the government which also comprises the board exam for class 5 and class 8 students. HC also said that the state government can implement this scheme from the next academic year.
The government planned to implement this board exam to improve the student’s quality of knowledge but according to the petitioners, this scheme is not discussed with students, teachers, parents, and school managements. They are all considering that this exam may cause mental pressure on students. Recently the state government announced that this board exam will be held in their student’s schools but now the HC of Karnataka has cancelled this exam. This makes students get into a confused state of mind.
